On April 17th,our baby"K" was born.He weighed 8lbs. 14oz and was 22 inches long.I was in labor with him for about 22 hours. He is our fourth child and our biggest baby #so far#(*wink*wink*)
Dh and I are already thinking that we might want more children.I always knew that I wanted as many as 4 but as many as 6 would be good, too(*smile*) current count:3 boys, 1 girl ...lol
"K" is so handsome and we just love all of our snuggle time with him.

Waiting patiently
Here it is April. I am 6 days overdue with our little one. Nothing is really happening to make me think I am having any progress. I have tried a few tips to naturally induce labor but....nothing.Today is a pretty, sunny day so maybe we'll go out for a nice walk and maybe just maybe that will get things moving along. I have an appointment tomorrow. The doctor did speak of possible induction this week so we'll see what she has to say tomorrow.

Do you homeschool year 'round?
Would you mind sharing your schedule?
With our oldest, he has been working independently but with our youngest two they have basically been"unschooling" the past 2 months.(although they have been still learning...reading, having questions answered, drawing, creative learning, etc.)
If this baby comes on time, I plan to take a month to get used to having a new baby in the house again, bonding, and maybe breastfeeding(which will be new to me). Then I am thinking of beginning our year 'round homeschooling in May.
I am planning to use the Charlotte Mason method so I think this would be a good time to start especially for nature study. If any of you use the Charlotte Mason method, would you share your schedule, too?

stuff
On Monday, I went to the OB doctor and she said everything looks good and I could go into labor anytime. The baby's heartbeat was 127. I only have about 2 weeks until the due date and we are getting very excited.
Our oldest son's job is going well. He already received his first paycheck and opened his first bank account.
Dh took us out to eat today and I ordered a non alcoholic strawberry daquiri. It was so good! I have been craving anything that has to do with fruit these days....and Junior Mints, too.

Easy tasty sandwiches....
for any time of day. I made these for supper on ds's birthday.
Egg and Cheese Biscuits
Bake Grands biscuits. Fry eggs. Split biscuits in half. Top one half with egg. Top with small slice of Colby- Jack cheese. Top with other biscuit half and microwave for 35 seconds. Quick, easy and delicious!
You may enjoy serving these with hash browns and fresh fruit.

Update
~ I went in for my OB appointment the other day. The baby's heartbeat is in the 140's. I found out that my due date has also been moved up about 2 weeks. I also have been having Braxton Hicks contractions for the past week.
~ I have been feeling the nesting instinct and I did do a few things today but I have to take it easy.
~Also, my oldest ds turned 17 yo on Saturday and began his new job today.
